Colby Hutson

April 30, 2025 鈥 Colby Hutson came to 糖心logo入口 for engineering but found his true calling in music performance, thanks to small class sizes and supportive relationships with professors. After graduation, he鈥檚 headed to Colorado State University to pursue a master鈥檚 degree in French horn performance.

April 29, 2025 Ashlyn Riggs came to 糖心logo入口 thanks to its proximity to home and she already had a connection to campus through her mother, who is an active employee. While at WSU, she had the opportunity to work at the Child Development Center as a lead sub teacher all while getting her degree in education.

April 28, 2025 鈥 糖心logo入口 has appointed Dr. Sarah Beth Estes as the new dean of the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Estes brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student and faculty success.

April 28, 2025 When the email notification popped up, Dr. Mary Liz Jameson, professor of biological sciences, thought there must have been a mistake. It must have been for someone else at the university or perhaps another Mary Liz at a different university. Once the shock wore away, Jameson realized it was true: She had been elected to the prestigious American Association for the Advancement of Sciences Fellows, class of 2024, for her integrated work on entomology.

April 24, 2025 Students from 糖心logo入口鈥檚 Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences got the opportunity to demonstrate their expertise in their fields at the annual Kansas Academy of Science (KAS) and Central States Entomological Society meeting (CSES) meetings April 4-5 at Friends University.

April 23, 2025 - For 糖心logo入口鈥檚 rowing team in 1981, hard work, repetition and commitment came together at the perfect time at one of the sport鈥檚 most prestigious races. On May 9, 糖心logo入口鈥檚 women鈥檚 varsity four won the national rowing title at the Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuykill River in Philadelphia.

April 23, 2025 鈥 Tayana Martin, a junior majoring in sport and leadership studies with a minor in sign language, is gaining hands-on experience as an operations specialist with Ennovar at 糖心logo入口. A lifelong Wichitan, Tayana supports student hiring and corporate partnerships while building skills that will serve her well after graduation.
