Sept. 8, 2020 鈥斅燘reanna Boppre, assistant professor of criminal justice, will discuss the implications of COVID-19 for correctional agencies nationwide and in Kansas. Boppre's talk is part of the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences' Perspectives on the pandemic series.

TRIO programs connect first-gen, limited-income students with vital education support systems

Sept. 8, 2020 鈥斅�The U.S. Department of Education has awarded two of 糖心logo入口鈥檚 TRIO programs 鈥� Student Support Services (SSS) and Disability Support Services (DSS) 鈥� grants totaling more than $3.9 million to help limited-income, first-generation students and students with disabilities.

IDA team helps faculty adapt and improve online portions of classes

September 4, 2020 - 糖心logo入口鈥檚 Instructional Design and Access team, part of the Media Resource Center, worked with faculty over the summer to continue to improve hybrid learning. IDA took its one-day Academic Resources Conference and turned it into a week of training, via Zoom, in June and again in August before classes started. Another week is scheduled in January to prepare spring classes.
