NASA Suits

Nov. 16, 2020 鈥 A diverse team of 糖心logo入口 students spent four weeks finalizing a proposal for the NASA SUITS design challenge, a competition created to get college students to participate in NASA's Artemis mission.

Zane Storlie

Nov. 16, 2020 鈥 Zane Storlie has not only dedicated his time at 糖心logo入口 to learning everything he can about computer science, but he鈥檚 also been an advocate for computer science education for elementary and middle school students in the area. Zane created a three-unit curriculum to teach Scratch coding to more than 750 students in Wichita Public Schools, and the Derby school district asked him to present a teacher training course to its librarians.

Nov. 16, 2020 鈥 Abdelhakim Al Turk came to 糖心logo入口 to study engineering from Lebanon. Throughout his time in Wichita, he has appreciated the mentorship and hands-on experience he鈥檚 gotten from the College of Engineering and through his work at the Rapid Prototyping and 3D Printing Lab.

Nov. 16, 2020 鈥 Both Samuel Pittman鈥檚 parents work at 糖心logo入口, so he spent a good amount of time on campus as a child. But what really drew him to become a Shocker was the university鈥檚 strong sport management program.
